In Dunkirk, ready for the morning ferry, with little to report. The last two days have been spent getting here and distracted by trying to resuscitate a failing water pump. I thought I’d been ingenious enough to resolve the issue of it grinding to a stop, but two soaped up shower failures later (ladies, bestill your beating hearts!) I bought a replacement and fitted it myself this time.
Almost inevitably, having banged my way around Europe, I end with a whimper, dull practically drawing the curtain on a wonderful adventure.
The skies have clouded over, powerful gusts rock the van and rain is rattling on the roof.
A choppy crossing is likely tomorrow.
91 days, 5400 miles, overnighting in 5 countries, once again it has been a blast, but now I can’t wait to see my family. Thanks to everyone for keeping me company, I look forward to seeing you all in the not too distant future.
Jusqu’à la prochaine fois; until the next time.

As a passive passenger it has been a blast. Roll it n the next one!
Cheers Nige, it was good knowing you were keeping an eye on me!
