Mont Canisy via Trouville-sir-Mer

Friday 24 May 2019

I’d planned a blog free day but I’ll keep it short.

I thought a cycle along the coast to remnants of German gun batteries at Mont Canisy would be nothing to write home about but I passed some very French scenes,

a surprise,

and the view over Seine Bay was lovely.

Properties were high end. A very salubrious area.

I passed through Trouville-sur-Mer, a town of yachts,

big hotels, bigger casinos,

conference centres and flash cars. It was preparing for a Porsche festival. I, of course, felt very much at home.

Oh, and May resigned. Send in the clowns.
